About Jethro
I am a freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator born, raised and living in Birmingham. I’ve been drawing since a young age, I remember visiting BMAG as a child and studying all the different styles and techniques, and teaching myself by practicing drawing from reference and life. Later, I studied Art at Sutton Coldfield College and Graphic Design and Illustration at De Montfort University in Leicester in 2010, then coming back to Birmingham in 2013. I specialise in black and white, with black pigment liner being my favourite medium. My subject matter varies from portraits, classic cartoon characters to wild animals. This, combined with my love of tribal patterns, silhouettes and the 20th Century avant-garde art movement Cubism, brings to fruition my detailed graphic drawing style.
